Our branch, like all RSPCA branches, is a separately registered charity that operates independently but under the umbrella of the National Society.
We cover an area bounded by Epsom, Ewell and Chessington in the north; Banstead in the east; Leatherhead, Bookham and Fetcham in the south; and Oxshott and Stoke D'Abernon in the west.
The branch is run by a committee of volunteers – we rely on donations, local fundraising and legacies to support less fortunate animals in our area. We receive no government or lottery support.
What we offer
Welfare assistance scheme
We provide pet owners with financial support if they cannot afford veterinary treatment for their animals, provided that they meet our branch criteria.
Neutering service
We provide a low-cost neutering service for dogs, cats and rabbits to help reduce the number of stray and unwanted animals, provided that the owner meets our branch criteria. We also ask the vet to microchip cats and dogs – for free – at the same time the neutering is performed.
Rehoming assistance
We help the National Society to rehome the animals in its care by visiting prospective adopters, to check the suitability of their home for the animal they wish to adopt.
Regrettably, our branch is unable to accept animals for rehoming. However, you can find out more about rehoming through the National Society at www.rspca.org.uk/rehoming.
Detailed information on pet care and other animal welfare matters is available through the National Society at www.rspca.org.uk/allaboutanimals.
